Volunteer Board Members Needed Safeguarding Children Board
Might that be YOU?
Are you involved in your local community in Southwark?
Do you have the leadership skills to represent the voice residents of Southwark on the Safeguarding Children Board?
Are you on a management committee, a Trust Board, a governing body or a similar leadership body? If this is part of your day job this role will not apply to you as you would not be a ‘lay person’.
Southwark Safeguarding Children Board is the statutory committee made up of local health, police, schools, Council and voluntary sector agencies which agrees the way agencies work together to safeguard children.
We are looking for two local residents to be Lay Members of the Board to represent the local community and help us decide how best to protect children in Southwark. You would be full voting members of the Board.
Is that you? or maybe someone you know?
If you are interested please read our recruitment pack and come to our information session on 10 January 2012 11 am to 1pm to learn more.
Please pass this information to others in your community group who may be interested and may be able to do this.
